Steel beam bridge with oak fascia
This bridge was recently installed by CTS at Neville Arms, Medbourne, Leicestershire for Leicestershire County Council
This bridge shows a good example of a steel beam bridge fitted with an oak timber fascia to give the appearance of an all timber bridge. Steel beams provide a cheaper option for bridges over 10m but by incorporating a timber fascia, the bridge looks like an all timber structure.
