Timber

Timber decks can be hardwood or softwood.
The hardwood timber is supplied machine grooved.
The softwood timber can be supplied rough sawn or machine grooved.
All softwood timber is CCA treated for a 40 year service life.

Steel

Steel decks are usually used in association with a steel bridge design.
The most common type is a steel plate overlaid with resin/bauxite non slip surfacing.
Ideal for cycle ways and bridges with a high pedestrian use.

1. Hi-Grip Excel
Combines the grooved profile of the 'Standard' deck with the non-slip properties of the 'Plus' deck. Maintains the natural beauty of timber whilst providing effective non-slip properties.

A resin/bauxite non-slip surface comprising criggion green aggregate applied under factory controlled conditions onto the walking surface of timber or steel decks.
