Paddington Basin; Ramps and Steps at night
The steel ramp structure was commissioned to provide disabled access to existing structures on the banks of the canal basin. An elegant and lightweight parapet uses horizontal stainless steel wires and timber top rail to provide a maritime feel. The parapet neatly incorporates lighting elements to give a great night time aesthetic and increase safety.
Steel panels overlaid with Hi-Grip Plus non-slip surfacing was used on the walkway surface of the ramps.
